What kind of photography do you offer?

XenFoto offers almost any kind of photography available, with few exceptions. We offer family, teen, actor, child and couple portraiture. We also offer something for the business-minded client, including employee, product, promotional and advertising photography. Maternity shooting is a popular choice as well as event photography for nightclubs and similar social events. Our most used services, however, are senior portraits, weddings and fashion portfolios.

Where are you located?

We are in Fremont, California and we cover all of the Bay Area, from Santa Cruz to San Rafael.

Do you offer other services?

Beyond our great photography, we also offer graphic and web design services. Whether you need promotional material like pamphlets, business cards or flyers, or a new website to act as your online business card, we can accomodate your needs at a very reasonable price. What is your photography philosophy?

Take the best photos we possibly can, charge a reasonable price for them and build lifelong relationships with hundreds of thousands of happy customers. Simple, right? :)

What do you charge for your services?

You can find basic price guidelines here. Some projects require a custom quotation - we'll let you know if this is the case with your project.

Many of our clients already have a budget in mind, and we encourage you to let us know what that budget is - we're happy to work with you to figure out the best path to follow based on your budget.

What kind of payments do you accept?

PayPal, cash, local checks, money order or cashier's check. If you pay by check, your products will be delivered once the check clears.We accept credit card payments as well, but only through the PayPal credit card payment service. Our PayPal email is:

When do I pay you for your services?

A $100 deposit (which is applied to your total bill) is required for all projects $500 or over. For all other shoots, the balance is owed the day of the shoot, before we begin.

How long does a photoshoot take?

Every photoshoot is different when it comes right down to it. Many portrait shoots can take anywhere from two to five hours, depending on how many clothing or location changes there are, and senior portraits can be the same. Business portraiture is often faster, and advertising, fashion and editorial photoshoots can often take all day. Based on your project, we will let you know in advance how long we think your shoot will take and what you can expect while you're there.

Do you have a retail location?

XenFoto is an on-location photography company. We may open up a retail location at some point in the near future - we'll keep you informed!

As the client, what is my involvement in the photography process?

We will involve you in the process as much or as little as you would prefer. At the very least, you'll provide input to us about what you want - and we can either take it all from there, or you can be fully involved in the project. Your ideas and our creativity are the combination that will make the end results spectacular.

How do I check on the progress of my project?

We are available through phone and email almost all the time. You are welcome to contact us with questions at any time. Also, we will make sure to keep you in the loop with regular updates during the course of your project.

How will I receive my photos once you're finished?

Once final payment is received, you have several options for receiving the results of your project. Depending on which type of shoot you've done with us, you might receive a CD/prints through the mail, proofs through email, a link to an online web gallery or a combination of any of those.

I don't know where to start. Can you help me?

We are happy to get you started...even if you have only the most basic idea of what you want, we can help you determine the best route for you to follow and we can even supply all the creativity for you! Whatever your needs, even if you're not quite sure what it is that you need, we can help you.

It's last minute and my photographer backed out, can you help?

We know that there are often situations that arise last minute, and we're happy to be of service in those situations, if we can. Call us up at 805.268.1877 and let us know the parameters of your shoot and your original budget, and if we have the time available, we'll do our absolute best to work within your budget and save your project!

What are your business hours?

We are open between 10am and 4pm Monday through Friday, but we're happy to schedule shoots or meet with clients on your schedule. Just let us know what works best for you!
